The first art project that we completed for Art Methods was the Footprint Project. This project was used as a way to introduce ourselves to the other people in our class. For this project we were required to include pictures that described or related to our lives. I drew a tent and camp fire to represent my love of camping. I also drew a paint brush because really like painting in my free time.
I included puzzle piece because I enjoy doing puzzles. I put fireworks on my foot because my birthday is almost the fourth of July and i like watching the firework show on the fourth of July.
EXTENTION:
I would have the children color and cut out there foot and then have them measure the length and width of their foot. I would then have them measure each others height using their feet and other things such as the length of the classroom and the width of the hallway.
